Abbey Home Elevator - Focusing on Residential Marketplace Abbey Access sells its Commercial Division to ThyssenKrupp Access Aug 04, 2005
Fresno,California – Abbey Access Group Inc. a leading company in the residential elevator and handicapped accessibility market is excited to announce the sale of the commercial wheelchair lift division of Abbey Access, to ThyssenKrupp Access a long time innovator of stair lifts, wheelchair lifts and residential elevators.
Abbey Home Elevator a division of Abbey Access Group Inc, will continue to develop it's stronghold on the residential elevator and stair lift market in California and Arizona. Abbey Home Elevator is still planning to expand into the home elevator market in Nevada.
“The divesting of our commercial wheelchair lift division allows Abbey Home Elevator to focus on the continued growth of our residential elevator and stair lift business,” said Brian Nichols, President of Abbey Access Group Inc.

Abbey Access continues to conduct business in the residential arena, while ThyssenKrupp Access has acquired and will operate the Commercial wheelchair lift division. Running operations in the Fresno, CA office is Rex Flanagan. |
